Privacy policy
Nest Burst privacy policy
Nest Burst is a bird match-3 puzzle game by Lucky Horse 7. This policy covers Nest Burst version 0.2.0 and later on Google Play and the App Store, and its web test build.
In short
- No account or sign-in. We never ask for your name, email or phone number.
- Your progress and settings are saved only on your device.
- In the phone apps you can choose to watch a short video ad from Google AdMob for a reward. Ads never interrupt play.
- Once the shop is open in your version, you can buy coins, a starter bundle or No Ads through Google Play or the App Store. We never see your payment details.
- Buying No Ads turns the ad service off completely.
What the game saves on your device
To let you carry on where you left off, Nest Burst saves a small game file on your device. It holds:
- your progress: levels cleared, stars, records and achievements;
- what you have earned or bought, such as coins, boosters and your lives timer;
- how many reward videos you watched today, and which purchases this device made, so each one is delivered once;
- your settings: music on or off, the music track and volume, sound, voice and vibration.
On phones this file sits in the app's private storage; on the web it sits in your browser's local storage. It is never sent to us, and we cannot see it. The game keeps a backup copy next to it so a damaged save can be recovered.
Ads from Google AdMob
The Android and iPhone apps offer rewarded video ads from Google AdMob. A video plays only when you tap to watch one, for extra moves, an extra life or the daily bonus. There are no banner ads and no ads that interrupt play.
Unless you own No Ads, the ad service starts when the game opens. To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google collects and processes:
- your device's advertising identifier (the Android advertising ID, or on iPhone the IDFA, only if you allow tracking);
- your approximate location, worked out from your IP address;
- how you interact with ads, such as views and taps;
- diagnostic data from the ad software, such as crash and performance data.
This data is shared with Google, which uses it as described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. If you buy No Ads, the ad service is not started and none of this is collected.
Your ad choices
- Consent. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and US states with privacy laws, the game shows Google's consent message before any ad is requested. If you decline, the videos you choose to watch are limited or non-personalised.
- Change your mind. Where the consent message applies, open Settings in the game and choose Privacy options.
- iPhone. After the consent message, iOS asks whether the app may track you. If you choose Ask App Not to Track, ads are non-personalised and the IDFA is not used. You can change this in iOS Settings, Privacy and Security, Tracking.
- Android. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings, usually under Privacy, then Ads. The exact place depends on your phone.
In-app purchases
The shop sells coin packs, a one-time starter bundle and No Ads. It opens in an update after 0.2.0; until then nothing is for sale and none of the purchase data below is collected. Nothing sold is random. Payments are handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store, and we never see your card or payment details.
We use RevenueCat, Inc. as a service provider to check receipts and to deliver and restore purchases. RevenueCat receives your purchase history (what you bought and when, with the store receipt) and an anonymous app user ID made by the app. It does not receive your name or email. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
What the game does not do
- It does not ask for your name, email, phone number, age or any other personal detail.
- It has no account, sign-in, chat, friends list or leaderboard.
- It does not use your precise location, camera, microphone, contacts or photos.
- It has no analytics of our own and does not send your game file to any server of ours.
If you leave vibration on, the game uses your device's vibration for short taps of feedback. No data is involved.
App stores and hosting
- Google Play and the App Store handle the download, install and payment. Google and Apple process data about your device and account under their own privacy policies. If you allowed it in your device settings, they may share anonymous, combined statistics with us, such as install counts or crash counts. These do not tell us who you are.
- The web version is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web server, it processes your IP address and browser details to deliver the game's files. The web version shows no ads and sells nothing.
Children
Nest Burst is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal data, email [email protected] and we will delete it.
Security
Data sent by the ad and purchase services is encrypted in transit. Your game file stays on your device.
Keeping and deleting your data
What the game saves lives on your device, so you can delete it yourself:
- In the game: open Settings and choose Reset progress. This erases your progress for good.
- On a phone: uninstalling Nest Burst removes its saved file. On Android you can also clear its storage in your phone's app settings.
- On the web: clear the game's site data in your browser settings.
Our service providers keep purchase records for as long as they are needed to deliver and restore your purchases. To ask us to delete the records linked to your app user ID, email [email protected]. Include your player ID if the game shows one, or the order number from your Google Play or Apple receipt, so we can find the right records. We answer within 30 days. Google keeps ad data under its own policy, linked above. See also data deletion requests.
If you contact us
If you email [email protected], we receive your email address and message. We use them only to reply and to fix what you reported, and we delete them on request.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask to know, see, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, and withdraw consent. Write to [email protected]; we aim to reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live.
Changes to this policy
If an update changes what data Nest Burst handles, we will update this policy and the store's privacy details before that update is released, and say what changed. The date at the top always shows the latest version.
